Custom Plunging V-Neckline Off-the-Shoulder 3/4 Sleeves with Keyhole Back and Hood
I fell in love with this dress because I’ve never seen a wedding dress with a hood! A HOOD! Kleinfeld Bridal surprised me with this one! Super unique form-fitting fully beaded gown with sheer illusions, deep V, and off-the-shoulder neckline.
It’s like two dresses in one! The hood was up for ceremony revealing the keyhole back and down for reception for the off-the-shoulder look. It’s classy yet flirty and great for any time of year.
This gown hugs in all the right places but is super comfortable for a long day of celebrating love. Although it’s fully beaded it’s lightweight and airy. Our wedding was featured in The Knot magazine (4-page spread) and this dress was front and center!
Alterations:
- I wanted a custom look so I requested a keyhole cut out for the back.
- The dress was ordered in size 8/10 but we had to take it in to size 6/8 (maybe even smaller).
- We changed the boning in the top so that it was more comfortable (no longer poking my rib cage).
- Tightened the 3/4 sleeve.
- Added 2 bustles behind each knee for the train - The delicate beaded fabric was too heavy for just 1.
- We also added elastic to the off the shoulder area so it stayed up comfortably... didn’t want to be fidgeting!
Truly a One-of-a-Kind gown. The hood is EVERYTHING!
