Galia Lahav's, Odette, was truly a dream come true for me on my NYE 2017 wedding day! The gown took my breath away at the Galia trunk show in Chicago, IL. As soon I tried it on for the initial time, I knew it was "the one."
I hope that she can go to a wonderful deserving home and make another gal's bridal dreams become a reality! She certainly was a showstopper!
For me, it was a tough decision between Galia's Loretta and Odette. I wanted the stunning fullness of the Loretta, however, I also wanted to be comfortable during my reception and not overwhelmed by a humungous bustle.
I decided to create a detachable longer train to include for my ceremony, and obviously, the once in a lifetime photos! This was the best outcome I could have imagined.
I ordered an additional 6 bustles to attach to my dress. Each bustle measures the same length of the Loretta train, roughly ~20 feet. I paid $1,500 for the designer to create this piece for me, and I'm more than happy to toss it in as an extra incentive with the dress. :)
I had very minimal alterations performed on the dress. My seamstress mainly raised the straps in order to lift my bust slightly. Other than that, it really was an almost perfect fit.
The dress also comes with a custom Galia Lahav veil and all of the original dress packaging (i.e hangers, dress cover). I'm more than happy to share my wedding photography album and cinematography video for serious inquiries. I also have a really great iPhone video of my final fitting, which can be requested.
Lastly, the dress has been professionally cleaned via Davis Imperial Cleaners, which was recommended by Bella Bianca Bridal Couture. She is in mint condition, and is ready to meet her lucky bride-to-be! Thank you! Jen xo
